Abstract
This article results from art-education projects performed in institutions at São Paulo with adolescents and youngsters who are in vulnerable
situations. The core approach of this refl ection is the contribution of the analytical perception as a possibility of remembering stories and memories, allowing to observe other attributes as from words that enable the disclosure of a subjective action lost in such youngsters, furnishing space to an attitude capable of stimulating them to speak of their stories, but with singularity traces that are proper to their capacity. As from such experiences, we have noticed that, more than an intervention to care for the biological needs of those youngsters, an action generating meaning for their acts is necessary. Thus, an analytical perception that considers a phrase or word mentioned by the participant might enlighten
a certain mark that has the capability of connecting this youngster to his own history, some trace which he can self-recognize. Therefore, with such interventions, it is possible to assume that children, adolescents and youngsters that live in harsh situations and are exposed to several types of violence attempt to, according to their own criteria, preserve some connecting thread of psychic health.
