Abstract

The Solidarity Party is an event that takes place annually in the city of Registro-SP. Beginning in 2006, it was created to be a fundraising space for associations and social entities, as well as to publicize their work. About 30 institutions participate in this event, attracting an audience of over 20,000 people from the Registry and neighboring cities. The CAPS began its participation in the Solidarity Party in 2012 and has used the resources acquired for the purpose of socializing its users. The participation of the CAPS in this party has the function of being a solution for the socialization of people with mental disorders, making them active actors in one of the most collaborative events for the maintenance of the social activities performed by the service. The main result of this action is the active participation of the users in the process of construction and work in the Solidarity Festival as well as fundraising for other social activities.
