Educação permanente: estratégia de gestão para mudança de modelo de atenção à Saúde e fortalecimento do SUS em município do interior paulista

Abstract

This is an experience report of a lived experience in the field of municipal health management that had the proposal to hold per-
manent education meetings with health workers to reorganize the health system of the municipality of Paranapanema/SP, conside-
ring the model of attention to chronic conditions. The meetings were held monthly with the participation of the primary care tea-
ms, supported by a municipal tutor, articulator of basic care and facilitators of CONASS. Among the results, it is worth mentioning
the implementation of the schedule of activities and meetings with protected hours, implementation of the information system with
electronic medical records, reorganization of care schedules prioritizing the continued care of chronic conditions and institution of
matrix support in mental health. This process has contributed to transform management practices, and there is a need to establish
this process, which can be used to strengthen SUS.
