Abstract
The present article has as its starting point the reflection on two workshops reported situations together with health professionals, aiming to analyze the impasses of the communicational dimension in the educational process. These development provides casting doubt on some ideias that were the object of discussion among the participants of this workshop, with emphasis on the communication dimension as a constituent element of the educational process developed by the Family Health Strategy teams together with the population. The adopted perspective will have a critical conception of education as a parameter, considering communication practices in the context of health care actions, local culture brands, and interactions between health agents and the population.
