Abstract

This paper discusses and proposes some methodological concepts of knowledge translation for policy and decision making processes, the evolution over time of key concepts, models and strategies to facilitate these processes. Also discusses the importance of implementation, considerations of equity and the need for monitoring and evaluation of these courses of action.
