Abstract

The use of the video game X-BOX (Kinect) as a therapeutic resource inserts the entertainment in the treatment of neurological patients and amputees. The target is to offer these people an opportunity to perceive and value the remaining capacities rescuing the pleasure with body movement. The organization of an annual tournament for users enhances the benefits of the activity promoting beyond the physical exercise greater social interaction and family participation.
