Inclusion: the territory of ambivalence

Abstract

This paper’s goal is to present thoughts on inclusion public policy, whose focus is to create better living conditions and health for people with physical, sensory or cognitive limitations who distinguish themselves by their differences. Promoting inclusion, it’s developed better conditions in order to face the underlying violence, the exclusion, and the prejudice suffered by those people. This paper seeks to integrate inclusion public policies as well as the social dynamics in which are inserted, leading to an understanding that both processes of inclusion and exclusion does not depend on the formulation of such policies, but the psychosocio-cultural conditions that define the lives of people physical, sensory or cognitive limitations.
