Abstract

The Family Health Program (PSF) was created by the Ministry of Health (MS) in 1994, with the aim of to reorganize the practice of
primary care to health and prioritize prevention, promotion, early diagnosis, treatment and health recovery integrally and
continuously (SÃO PAULO, 2003). One of the priority purposes of the PSF is the attentionto pregnant women, as it is considered
one of the most vulnerable in primary care.
