Abstract
Social inclusion is humanization. Social inclusion is freedom. This text reports the experience of psychiatric hospitals public in the State of São Paulo, bringing stories of people who have been segregated for a long time of social life, withlives reduced to pavilions and patios, losing their identities and subjectivities, for long years of hospitalization. When
they had the attention of prepared teams were given back their dignity.
