Abstract
Would the relations between the products of Science and the conditions of existence (housing, income, education,food, transport) be obvious? Not so obvious as to need comment, nor so scarce as to question ourselves, then, about
the value and purposes of Science. In this brief essay I will point out some issues that seem relevant to the topic.
