Abstract
The science, technology and innovation policy in Health (PNCT&I/S) is an integral part of the policies national health and science andtechnology This means that the PNCT&I/S must comply with the principles and driving axes of both directions. It stands out as a principle
of extreme relevance the ethical and social commitment to the improvement of health conditions of the Brazilian population, politically
guided by the search for equity and the fight against inequality and, ethically, for the respect to life and dignity.
