Abstract

Since 1995, with the support of the Instituto de Saúde and the IBFAN network, using folders suggested by the WABA (World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action), the Community Education Center for Work (SENAC-SP) has had an
effective role in elaboration and realization of the World Week of Breastfeeding (SMAM). This week has the purpose of raising awareness, informing and mobilizing people around relevant social issues, extending the
Institution's educational action to the most diverse audiences of the communities in which Act.
