The role of SISVAN from the perspective of the Barretos DIR

Abstract

In June 1998, nineteen of the twenty Municipalities the area covered by the Regional Directorate de Barretos,
DIR IX – Barretos, qualified together to the Ministry of Health in the Incentive Plan for Combating Nutritional
Deficiencies (ICCN). In March 2000, the twentieth Municipality of the DIR also qualified at the ICCN. In 1998 and 1999, the coordination of the ICCN in the DIR was under the responsibility of the Directorate of
the Planning Division, as the guidelines from the state level were related to the question of qualification
and requalification.
