Profession lived in SUS

Abstract

My career as a doctor allowed me experience the Unified Health System under different aspects.
The beginning of his career was in 1982, as a resident at São Paulo City Hall, with programming recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) and course at Hospital Infantil Menino Jesus (HIMJ). Different stages in the emergency room and infirmary Tatuapé Hospital; in the infirmary and outpatient clinics HIMJ specialties; in the maternity nursery Cachoeirinha; in the care of poisonings in the Hospital from Jabaquara; in primary care at the Health Center from the São Mateus neighborhood. These spaces
motivated me to continue in public service. And I practiced pediatric care in different units in the East
Zone of São Paulo. I attended regional meetings of pediatricians to updating protocols, treatments and flow of referencing defined in the municipal organization; attended training modules for different grievances;
I experienced the implementation of Integrated Actions of Health (AIS) and the Unified and Decentralized System Health (SUDS); I participated in consultations multidisciplinary teams inside and outside the health unit.
