Perceptions of a trajectory through the cracks of the past

Abstract

I retired in November 2022, after 37 years of work: a few at the Secretariat of State of Education (SEE-SP)
and the rest in the Secretariat State of Health of São Paulo (SES-SP). They were many joys and achievements,
many learnings and, Also, a lot of frustrations. My professional life was confused, time everything, with
my personal life. I have always valued I had a lot of work and so it was easy to let go of my commitments personal resources to dedicate myself to commitments professionals. When it comes to the Department of Health,
I worked in a single institution, but it was proving to be different for me. The economic and political situation of the country and our state gave colors to it. Now more beautiful and favorable to the development of our work; sometimes heavier and more painful, imposing new difficulties to what is already so difficult to
navigate in the sector public health.
