Abstract
Much has been written about the Single System of Health (SUS) throughout its 35 years of life, highlightedhis ability to pay attention, especially during the covid-19 phase, when the system demonstrated vitality
and power in watching 200 million of inhabitants. This article aims to highlight the implementation challenges of actions that increase the effectiveness and the efficiency of the SUS, correcting distortions, flaws and supplanting the changes that already occur due to numerous factors that interfere in its performance. The fixes of some of them are directly linked to the own health system; others are independent of it. It is In any case,
it is the duty of the responsible sectors to demonstrate request and suggest changes. In this sense, the text is short and clear, not fully inclusive, leaving others and important items for future discussions.
