Abstract

The Bis Homeless Population & Health, volume 2, has the honor of bringing together in this edition a wide range of living beings of the human condition - people, groups, movements, collectives, experts and scholars, from different areas of knowledge, with a careful look at a complex issue of Brazilian cities, the very high social lack of protection which has increased, occupying the streets and sidewalks of the Capital of the richest state in the country, São Paulo. This volume, also called Dossier Cracolândia, can be seen through the images of the Italian photographer Luca Meola, the thousand faces of one of the most vilified in our city, Cracolândia, as
it was agreed to call that region in the central area from the city of São Paulo.
