Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic brought new challenges to the international stage and pushed the countries to adopt coordinated measures to confront it. It was verified the need for coordination between national public policies and international cooperation at different levels in favor to contain and fight the virus. Therefore, is discussed the Brazilian position on Global Health Diplomacy issues considering the federal government’s role. At the international level, the development of vaccines against Covid-19 has created disputes and inequalities, showing that the lack of multilateral cooperation articulations for the distribution of vaccines has widened the unequal scenario of access to supplies. Lastly, the relation between BRICS countries, which own enormous leadership potential in global governance matters, was and continues to be smaller than the envisioned coordination, with minimal internal articulation and speech discrepancy.
