Abstract
The aim of this article is to analyze the trajectory of the journal Cadernos de História da Ciência – Instituto Butantan, from its creation in 2005 to 2018, when it gained recognition as a space for disseminating research and implementing debates in the areas of History of Science and Public Health and in defending the memory and history of Brazilian scientific institutions. In addition to dealing with the initial proposal and the editorial parameters implemented, the text seeks to characterize the set of authors and the plurality of themes present in the journal
