Abstract

This article presents the process of setting up the Black Population Health Network in the city of Salvador as part of the implementation and internalization of the Programme Against Institutional Racism (PCRI) in the Municipal Health Department (SMS) by means of constituting black health representatives of the population in the diverse districts and sectors of sanitation. PCRI has structured and improved the work of Assessment of Promotion of Racial Equity in Health (ASPERS), ensuring the promotion of racial equity, as a transversal directive of the SMS.
