Abstract
This article aims at questioning the establishment of the Human Relations within institutionalized spaces of the public health system and introducing effective suggestions in course in a General Hospital, for this, the São Mateus General Hospital. The following themes will be introduced: disparities of the body and speech; the existence of an offi cial language and its constants, which are only variable within dissimulations and its handling: euphemisms, fi gures of speech, metaphors and metonyms in the relation with the imperceptibility zone of the users’ language, susceptible to variations, fl ows and adaptations, however “catchable“ by the offi cial language, either in the appropriation aspects and the delegitimization; the processes of speech: humor as a speech for breaking the resistance and severity of the languages; the institution/languages relation and its control mechanisms. We will discuss how the health system is subject to the standardizations and models that represent power and truth regimen (or legitimized lies)4. The user knows that, when pursuing medical care in a health institution, he will also have to deal with the current truth production systems. Thus, we have shown that the communication is performed in the affections, in the reliability and bonding, in the body language, the breaking of standards and humor that goes through the “debureaucracy” of the relations, as well as the legitimization of affections, the diversity of the speeches, cultures and genres.
