Abstract
This article aims to present a construction of a broader vision of the municipal educators and health professionals through the specialized orientation, seeking the discussion of the de-pathologizing of childhood. This construction started from the need for a joint work between the Municipal Education Department and the Municipal Health Department / Mental Health to create a multiprofessional team, through specialist orientation support, in order to discuss the cases, in different knowledge, students who need a differentiated care included in regular education in the school units of the municipality. From the fortnightly meetings between health professionals and education, it was possible to establish a dialogue between the two departments and guide possible referrals, both educational and clinical, thus reducing the high rate of referrals with wrong demands, avoiding the pathologizing of early childhood
