Abstract

Continuing the themes that involve sexuality, health and sexual rights and reproductive, this issue of the BIS discusses childbirth, contraception, maternal mortality, prenatal care and obstetric violence, issues that affect more directly to
women. These questions represent still a focus of concern in our health promotion and assistance from the System Unified Health System (SUS). These topics need to be continue to be discussed and that there are proposals of
improvements for the SUS, as well as the defense of this system that has been suffering retrograde threats and
containment in its funding.
