Abstract

To discuss social inequalities, living conditions and health in the context of the Unified Health System, researchers
and activists use the concept of equity. The concept proposes unequal treatment for the unequal. Blacks, indigenous
and whites are different, occupy different spaces in our society, and "deserve different treatment, in order to
eliminate/reduce existing inequalities."
