Resumo
399 soros suspeitos de hepatite virótica e 105 soros antígeno HBs positivos provenientes de banco de sangue de São Paulo, SP, foram utilizados para comparar as técnicas de imunoeletroforese cruzada (IEC) e radioimunoensaio (RIE) com hernaglutinação passiva reversa (HAPR). A concordância entre RIE e HAPR foi de 81% e, entre a HAPR e IEC, foi de 58%. As hemácias preparadas em nossos laboratórios para o teste de HAPR não apresentaram diferenças significativas quando comparadas com as hemácias padrão e, guardadas até 6 meses a 4°C, não apresentaram alterações em sua sensibilidade. A reação de HAPR foi preferida pela sua sensibilidade e facilidade de execução.
