Abstract
Adolescence is a moment whose main specificities are the search for new discoveries, the development of anatomy and the experimentation of the sexual life. In this context, there is great vulnerability with regard to contact with sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and prevention is a crucial issue for HIV/AIDS control programs. Concomitant with the great progress and empowerment of health professionals, health education strategies are capable of substantially altering the key determinants of infection and illness in this population. The objective of this study was to identify in the scientific production the methodologies used in activities that approach sexuality in groups of adolescents. Through integrative systematic review, in databases and electronic databases (Lilacs, Medline and Pubmed) traced to works published between 2011 and 2016. The final sample consisted 38 studies. The most important element of vulnerability is the demonstration of the need to adapt languages and methods used in education actions, as well as the inclusion of multiprofessional and intersectoral discussions to host and link adolescents to healt h services.
