Plagiarism and self-plagiarism

Cases of scientific misconduct and identification of plagiarism or self-plagiarism are cause for refusal at any stage of the editorial process and actions will be taken as indicated by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). 

If this situation is identified after publication, the manuscript will be excluded from the BEPA, according to COPE guidelines. The journal will not hesitate to publish retractions and apologies when necessary.
