Resumo
A injeção subcutânea de extratos aquosos da córtex suprarrenal produz modificações quantitativas acentuadas na fórmula leucocitária do coelho, caracterizadas por aumento do número dos granulócitos neutrófilos e por diminuição do numero dos linfócitos. O número dos granulócitos basófilos e dos monócitos, não é influenciado de modo evidente pelos hormônios corticais. A administração dos extratos aquosos da córtex suprarrenal a coelhos previamente imunizados não revela nenhum efeito favorecedor dos hormônios corticais sobre a produção de anticorpos.
