Abstract

The authors described an outbreak of enteritis caused by Salmonella typhimurium in three hosnitals, S. typhimurium became established in three hospitals anel always recovered from dust in the wards but not from the hospital staff. In 1969 the number of cases was 457 and the only reason for a so high incidence was the possibilrty of aírborn infection.
