Resumo
Na presente investigação, os autores analisaram a distribuição de lisotipos e tipos fermentativos em 201 amostras de Salmonella typhi, isoladas no estado de São Paulo, no período de 1966 a 1971. Obtiveram, no cômputo geral, a prevalência dos lisotipos A (37,81%), E 1 a (27,36%) e F 1 (5,97%) amostras Vi-negativas, (5,97%) e L 1 (4,47%). Em relação à classificação bioquímica, 50,74% das amostras pertenceram ao tipo I, 48,25% ao tipo 11 e 0,99% ao tipo Ill, respectivamente.
