Authors are permitted to deposit all versions of their articles in institutional or thematic digital repositories. This allows for self-archiving of pre-print versions, post-print/accepted manuscripts, or published articles (version of record).
RIAL employs the LOCKSS system from the Public Knowledge Project (PkP) to create a distributed archiving system among the journals of the São Paulo State Health Department, enabling the creation of permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.
The journal is also part of the Cariniana network: the Brazilian Network of Digital Preservation Services the Brazilian Institute of Science and Technology (IBICT). See also: Keepers.
