Abstract
In the present paper the author describes Dadoxylon Withei n. sp. based on a fossil wood collected in Assistencia, municipal district of Rio Claro, State of S. Paulo. The fossil in question occurs in beds of the Iratí formation of the permian age. The author also discusses the characters which distinguish the above-mentioned species from other Dadoxylon of south Brazil studied up this dateReferences
