Abstract
Excellent staining of lipidic materials in easily discerned bright red against a blue background is obtained by using Sudan IV and Ehrlich's hematoxyllin in concentrations lower that usually recommended. The procedure has been applied to sections from human organs, from innoculated animals and from cocoa seeds.
