Abstract
Trie results of the isolatíon of poliovirus obtaíned from the cerebrospinal fluid of 193 children wíth poliomyelitis and presenting meningitis symptomatology are descríbed. In 16 out of 183 cases where poliovirus had been previously ísolated from feces, poliovírus from cerebrospinal fluid were also isolated.
