Abstract

Clinical and parasitolagical findings in three patients with an intense febrile syndrame, profuse diarrhea and eosinophilia are reported. l soepora belli was identified in the feces of the three patients. Remarks are made on the clinical picture of acute and ch ronic human isospariasis, the eficiency of the specific therapy and on the taxanomy af human isospor iasis. Apparently, acu te isosporiasis is infrequent in Brazil.
