Abstract
In order to make the presumptive differentiation of enterobacteria faster and easier, a culture medium was developed where sucrose and glucose fermentation, urea hydrolysis, gas production, H2S and indole, deamination can be observed in a single tube of L-tryptophan, lysine decarboxylation and motility. Preliminary tests with enterobacteria demonstrated full reproducibility and adequate visualization of differential reactions.
