Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Please inform your institution and ROR (Registry of Research Organizations) when completing the submission of your manuscripts to OJS. In the affiliation field, when you start typing, the name of the institution will be suggested by the system. Just select. When informing the institution, the ROR will be generated automatically, if it is properly registered. ROR is a registry of research organizations around the world, and was launched in 2019. The use of ROR is to ensure that author affiliations, reviewers, editors, and funding organization information are entered correctly. This way, contributions from users affiliated with or funded by a particular organization can be easily identified, allowing for statistics, data analysis and other metrics. Recently, a plug-in from Open Journal Systems was developed to support the collection of author affiliations and ROR IDs through a widget (micro applications that are displayed on a computer screen).
  • ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is an example of a persistent identifier for a person. ORCID works closely with many other PID organizations to build trusted connections between ORCID IDs and other identifiers. The validated ORCID field on the OJS website is mandatory.
