Resumo
É descrito um método de cromatografia em camada delgada para identificação do sorbitol, em presença de seus possíveis contaminantes (rnanítol, maltose, glicose, xilose, frutose, sacarose) . O sol vente é uma mistura de água, propanol e acetato de etila e o revelador, uma solução de permanganato de potássio. O método detecta até 0,5 ug/uI de sorbitol e separa nitidamente até 5% de manitol em sorbitol.
