Abstract
The highest agglutinant titers were observed after the third and fourth inoculations. The lanoline exerts a retarding effect on the absorption of the antigens, favouring the premature formation of antibodies. When working with highly toxic germs, it is necessary to separate the first and second inoculations by a longer interval. It is absolutely necessary to use small quantities or attenuated germs for the first inoculation. By this method it is possible to immunize, with living and virulent germs, small laboratory animals for different purposes.
