Abstract

Fezes destinadas ao isolamento do bacilo tífico, quando sujeitas a transporte demorado, deverão sempre ser conservadas no meio preservativo de Teague e Clurman. Fezes recebidas para exame sem nenhum tratamento e já emitidas há algum tempo, deverão permanecer 24 horas no meio de enriquecimento de Kauffmann antes da semeadura nos meios seletivos de isolamento.
