Abstract
This paper describes the preparation of the serum normal pool and alterated pool made from this base by volumetric additions of analyte. The concentration of each constituent in each pool is established from measurement in the several clinical laboratories. This substance has been used like control system to study precision and accuracy and alerts one to the existence of problems. Moreover, such a system can provide the analyst with a valuable decision-making tool to help guide him in considering new methodology of instrumentation.
