Abstract
Hepatitis B and HIV negative human blood samples were selected in order to evaluate the conditions of stable lysates in the monitoring of hemoglobin quantification. For this purpose, we employed a freezing-defrosting system which generated an inexpensive hemoglobin standard, stable for 6 months. This methodology could be sucessfully used in the quality control of all laboratories involved with hemoglobinic quantification.
