Abstract
This surveillance intend to show up the conditions of sterility from comercially prepared great volume parenteral solutions used in hospitais to keep and restore the volume and composition of the body fluids to normal. An amount of 582 samples
manufactured at industries and at hospital pharmacies were analise from 1989 to 1993. The results had shown 9,62% of the total samples didn't meet the requirements of sterility and within the same batch different samples gave different results concerning sterility.
