Abstract
From March 1990 to December 1994 feces samples from 172 with and without diarrhoea patients, who demanded primary medical care in Health Services, were analysed in the Medical Biology Laboratory at Institute Adolfo Lutz - Campinas, SP. Samples sent by Hea1th Services from Campinas County and Region were analysed aiming to research coccidian parasites among HIV positive and suspects patients. The occurrence of both coceidia among the studied patients was 31,98%. Oocysts of Cryptosporidium parvum were demonstrated in 32 - 18,60% and Isospora belli in 27 - 15,70%. Coinfection for both coccidia was observed in 04 patients - 2,33%.
