Abstract
Results of isolation and identification of poliovirus from stools, oral swab and spinal fluid in 800 cases are related. We worked with HeLa and AV3 celIs usíng the Lepine's concentration technique. Four hundred ninety cases resulted positive: 379 for Poliovirus I, 35 for polio-vírus II, and 76 for Poliovirus III.
