Abstract
The polarographic behaviour of some dyes as artificial food color, according to Color Index Food blue 1 (nº 73015), Food orange 3 (nº 15980), Food red 2 (nº 14815), Food red 4 (n9 16045), Food red 9 (nº 16185), Food red 14 (nº 45430), Food yellow 2 (nº 13015), Food yellow 3. (nº 15985), Food yellow 4 (nº 1914(}) and Indanthrene blue (nº 69800) was studied. The polarographic reduction of dyes was realized in buffer solution of diferent pH. Defmed polaropaphic waves were obtained only for azo dyes. The half-wave potential (E1/2) was determined. The data were expressed in a table.
