Abstract
The authors propose a simple, quíck, precise and accurate method for the meat products phosphorus determínatíon by the molybdovanadophosphoric acid method. The resulting data showed no statistical differences when compared with those obtained through the official method of the Instituto Adolfo Lutz, São Paulo, Brazil, thus characterizing the proposed procedure as a suitable method to carry out routine analysis.
