Abstract

A method for determining aflatoxins B1 B2, G1 and G2 through high-perforrnance liquid chromatography is described. The aflatoxins we re extracted and passed through a reverse-phase chromatography with detection in the ultraviolet spectrum at 350 nm. Recoveries of 92 to 106% were obtained. The method was employed in ten samples of peanut flour. The detection limit was 2 ppb (jLg/kg).
