Abstract

There were found many nematodes in one Argentine tomato paste. The sanitary authorities, taking this fact into consideration, condemned the use of this paste. A comparative study of this nematode and the vinegar’ worm, Turbatrix aceti, revealed that it does not belongs to this species but to the genus Panagrellus, species P. redivivus.
