Copyright

Authorship of an article grants recognition and academic credit to the authors while also implying responsibility for the published content. Thus, authors are responsible for acknowledging and disclosing any potential financial, commercial, or associative conflicts of interest related to the materials used in the work or other factors that may influence them. They must declare the existence or absence of such conflicts in the Declaration of Authorship and Responsibility at the time of submission.

The journal Hansenologia Internationalis: Leprosy and Other Infectious Diseases allows authors to retain the copyright of articles accepted for publication without restrictions. As a result, the journal is exempt from liability for any violations of Brazilian Law No. 9.610/1998 (Copyright Law).

This journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. The rights belong to the authors, and this license allows others to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon their work, even for commercial purposes, as long as proper credit is given for the original creation. It is the most flexible of all the available licenses. It is recommended to maximize the dissemination and use of licensed materials.
